Engagement sessions are always some of my very favorite shoots. We get to hang out with great couples and capture their love for each other in beautiful locations. Kentucky just never lets me down in terms of providing gorgeous backdrops. Justine and Drew drove from Western Kentucky with their dogs and one of Justine's bridesmaids to allow us to shoot their engagement photos. Justine, having gone to the University of Kentucky, already knew the areas that she wanted to go and I have to say, she had some great picks! We started out in Midway, KY which is just the cutest little town! Because Drew proposed near the RJ Corman railroad tracks there, we started out there and then walked down to the quaint, adorable shops that line the small Main St. After that, we drove to Weisenberger Mill, a local favorite for all kinds of photographers. The creek by the bridge that goes in front of Weisenberger Mill was looking especially stunning! Finally, we made our way to Pisgah Presbyterian on Pisgah Pike in Versailles, KY. It's always lovely there, especially at sunset. We met their super cute dogs and also some local horses that thought it was funny to avoid the camera and eat their sign! Justine and Drew, we had so much fun with you and hope you enjoy these sneak peeks! And we wish you the best as you plan your Florida destination wedding!
