It’s almost summer and it’s feeling that way in Kentucky! We were fortunate to have some beautiful weather this past weekend for Taylor and Beau’s wedding and then for Yin and Eric’s engagement session!
It finally feels like fall is settling on Central Kentucky and it just happened to arrive right before Emily & Adam's engagement session! In mid-October it just feels right to need a light jacket, a snuggly blanket or to cuddle up with your sweetheart. An engagement session is a perfect time to enjoy the latter and that is exactly what we asked Emily & Adam to do! This sweet couple happily obliged and got some great photo practice in before we capture their spring wedding day! The session began at the Henry Clay Estate amidst the turning autumn leaves and historic brick walls. It's such a timeless and classy location. Next, we headed out to Talon Winery, which is a special place for Emily and Adam to unwind after a busy work week. Talon Winery, which sits among the hills of the Bluegrass, is a lovely place to find peace and quiet.
We can't wait to shoot Emily as a stunning bride and Adam, the handsome groom, at Limestone Hall. Enjoy browsing just a few of their photos from their session at the Henry Clay Estate and Talon Winery!
Amanda & Jarran's engagement session was so much fun! They are a great couple who are both romantic and silly with each other, which makes for an awesome engagement shoot! We started out in the Distillery District of Lexington, on Manchester Street. Jarran works near the area and thought it would be a good spot and he was right! Next, we headed to the Henry Clay Estate off Richmond Road to get some shots right before sunset. The beautiful grounds of the estate never disappoint. We even got to watch some Red-tailed hawks trying to prey on some squirrels so it was quite an experience! Thanks, Amanda & Jarran, for allowing us to capture your engagement session on your dating anniversary! We wish you the best as you plan your wedding day in the coming months!
