Molly & Matt could not have chosen a more perfect Kentucky fall day for their engagement session! The light, the location...everything was just beautiful! Molly is in studying to be a Physician's Assistant and Matt is in Medical school so they're a very busy couple! They are still planning an amazing wedding and we can't wait to shoot it next December at The Grand Reserve!
When you live your whole life in Central Kentucky, you get very familiar with the fact that there are horse farms everywhere. It's one of my (Melissa's) favorite part of living here but I haven't had too many opportunities to visit these farms. So, when Katie and Miguel mentioned shooting their engagement session at Antebellum Farm in Lexington, I was pretty excited!
Katie works at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital and Miguel works on a horse farm so they were both comfortable in their surroundings. Katie has such beautiful curly hair and looked so pretty in her burgundy fit and flare dress and cowgirl boots. They are a super nice couple and are getting married next month! We cannot wait to shoot their wedding and Thoroughbred Center reception which we hear will have a little Mexican flair. :) Thank you, Katie & Miguel, for the chance to shoot your engagement photos and get to know you both a little better! The wedding day is going to be a blast!
Emma & Corey met me out at the Pisgah Presbyterian Church on Pisgah Pike in Versailles in the fall for their engagement session. It was a little chilly but we had beautiful light and the Kentucky countryside is always picturesque, especially when there are horses around! One of the things I love most about Central Kentucky (and Kentucky in general) is the variety of landscape we have. Rolling hills, farms, lakes, creeks, historical sites, waterfalls, flowers, trees...all beautiful backdrops for photos!
Emma and Corey are looking forward to their wedding in March and we are looking forward to capturing their special day!
