Our first spring engagement session is now in the books and on the blog! Katelyn and Josh are a super sweet couple that are getting married in October this year at the beautiful Barn at McCall Springs.
Abby & Jimmy are a sweet, fun couple that are getting married this summer at Warrenwood Manor in Danville, KY. We had a blast walking around a private farm in Richmond for their engagement photos. We loved how they incorporated sentimental areas and backgrounds into their images so that the photos are not only beautiful, but have an even deeper meaning for them. These photos represent their beginning, present and future.
We had the pleasure of going out to Lancaster last week to visit a new Kentucky wedding venue, Starlit Heights. The coordinator, Amber, was so kind to give us a tour of the location and let us know more about what they offer. The venue has an open air pavilion that would be perfect for wedding receptions as well as other events. The setting overlooks miles of gorgeous Kentucky farmland and a cute little pond is one of the focal points. There are several options for your ceremony location and portrait possibilities are endless on the 9+ acres! There are wooded areas that would be so pretty in photos! We can definitely envision beautiful engagement photos being shot here! One of the highlights is Burdette Knob, an amazing overlook that would be a super romantic place for a proposal or an elopement and Amber would be happy to help you set that up!
Alison & Shane's rustic wedding in Georgetown, KY was such a special day. We loved being there to be a small part of the day and capture their memories. It was especially unique in that they included Alison's son, Mark, in so many aspects of their day. He was there for the first look, was the ring bearer on his "tractor" (he did awesome), took part in the ceremony, and shared the first dance. Alison is such a sweet mom and Shane will be a great dad to Mark. Congratulations to all three of you!
