Hey…we have an announcement! On Sunday, May 19th, we will be teaching a Photography for Small Businesses workshop at Warrenwood Manor in Danville. During the workshop we will cover topics such as: how to create dynamic images for your small business brand that will make your social media pop and how to utilize your iPhone or camera settings to capture quality images. Then you'll hear about how to use editing software to choose the aesthetic that will best represent your brand and reach your target clients. You will receive training in creating flat lays, image composition and perspective as well as lighting. There will be time for Q&A as well as time to actually set up products and capture shots. We will be present for assistance and questions during the hands-on shooting time!
Wedding receptions are always so much fun. It’s the part of the day when everyone can finally relax and the bride and groom can just enjoy each other and all of their friends and family. We’re going to give you some ideas for your reception that can make it a little more fun and a little more unique!
Lexington has many stunning venues that fall into a category that we consider “historic” or “estate”. These venues often feature a large home that may or may not still be a residence. Many still have a farm setting, some also have barns and some can be found right in the middle of town. We invite you to view this list that we have compiled and let us know if you’ve had the pleasure of visiting any of these venues.
Kentucky has such a diverse collection of beautiful wedding venues and we were so happy to have the opportunity to check out the Historic Shelby Manor at Arcadia Farms in Stanford, KY, near Danville. This charming historic venue is also a bed and breakfast and sits on a working farm.
Recently we were blessed to have the opportunity to take my (Melissa's) granny to the Kentucky Castle for dinner and a tour. We had so much fun looking around at all the new renovations that the new owners have done. The castle in Versailles has never looked better and they are still working on it!
